Esta es una de mis ilustraciones favoritas. La hice para probar un nuevo juguete que descubrí en Barcelona (gracias Loreto!), se llama Liquid Masking Film, se usa para acuarelas y sirve para tapar las áreas donde uno no quiere que caiga la pintura.

This is one of my favorite illustrations. I made it to test a new toy I discovered in Barcelona, it's called Liquid Masking Film, and it's used when painting with watercolors to cover the areas that I don't want to paint.

Estas fueron las tarjetas del día del padre y de la madre de este año. La de mami la hice con papel pintado a mano y recortado para las rosas, y para las hojas usé sellos que hice con foami (goma eva).

These were the cards for this year's mother's and father's day. I made mom's card by painting paper and cutting it to make the rose, and the leaves were made with handmade foam stamps.

Illustration Friday - Memories

The little mouse remembers when his mom told him and his 7 siblings bedtime stories about the family pirates, now the mouse is no longer a child and he became a pirate, just like his dad, grandpa and others before them. Aurora is fascinated with the stories of his rodent friend.

Illustration from a book called "Un extraño visitante" (A strange visitor), a friend's mom wrote the story and I did the illustrations. I'll post photos later.
